Our world looks so different
behind a window pane
no one picking berries
on quiet country lanes
...Yet Spring-is-a-comin
we hear bees-a-hummin
little birds-a-chirpin
merrily to blue skies
tulips-a-bloomin
lillies proud and strong
...While we wait behind a window
right where we belong
What were we thinking
now like tiny ants astray
In a world we thought we ruled
where only nature is allowed to play
A new world awaits us
and nobody can say
all we can do is contemplate
and change our minds and ways
obey new rules
or for our errors we'll all pay
...In this place called Earth
we all love so much
let's worship and cherish
all its splendour and worth
